At Baked Moon Studios, we provide 3D design solutions according to client requirements. Recently, we partnered with a US-based home furniture manufacturer. This case study describes how our 3D modeling expertise helped our client boost their marketing and achieve their goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Client<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our client is a US-based home furniture and upholstery manufacturer serving the residential and commercial markets. They offer a wide range of durable and ergonomic furniture known for its stylish and comfortable designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The client has an in-house design team that creates modern furniture for various lifestyles and environments. They wanted to enhance their online e-commerce store, brochure, and marketing by showcasing their furniture in 3D. To do this, they needed around 500 3D furniture models customized and rendered against different backdrops so buyers could see the products in their surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The client choose Baked Moon Studios because of our reputation and expertise in 3D modeling and handed over this significant project to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenges<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the project, we faced a few issues. Many of the images provided by the client were unclear, making it difficult to get exact proportions and textures for the 3D models. In some cases, dimensions were missing, so our team had to estimate the best custom dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scope of work was big, with 500 3D models to be created. To meet the project requirements, our team had to be experts in furniture design<\/a> dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We prioritize the client’s sensitive information and set up a secure file transfer protocol to receive images and other data without compromising security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A project manager was assigned to manage the workflow and ensure smooth progress. This manager was the client’s single point of contact, addressing their concerns and providing updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We formed a team of 3D modeling experts and texturing and lighting specialists. As soon as the first batch of 3D furniture models<\/a> was ready, we shared them with the client for feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For images that were not clear, we had detailed discussions with the client’s representatives to get the best specifications. We asked for additional data whenever required to ensure accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We used the latest 3D furniture design software and our skilled professionals to speed up the project. This combo allowed us to produce high-quality models quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the 500-model batch was completed, the client was very happy with the outcome. Each model was dimensionally accurate and aligned with the client’s marketing strategy. The models fit perfectly with different backdrops to support the client’s marketing plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
